Item details

After countless hours,

there was a pale blue dot in the universe.

Hundreds of millions of years and thousands of years have accumulated in it to become the present

A place where hundreds of years of humanity have accumulated

The time and space in which I am

Is it going toward extinction or is it developing further?

No one knows, but the only thing we need to know is not to lose faith in a short and empty life.

At present, I don’t know if my work may be a masterpiece or a failure

I just believe that positive energy will be poured over the blank spaces

I just draw one stroke by one stroke

If I do not live, nothing will change

If I do not paint, nothing will change

Artist Note ___________________________________________________________________________

The motif of my work is an accidental form of spaces(niches). The space that appears by chance leads me out of reality. Of the myriad of images accumulated in my head while I have lived, the organisms with shapes that fit the space are connected like puzzles.

The groups born in an accidental form of gaps are actually substances that exist in different time and space, but the disassembly and recombination of them lead to a new mutation. A cluster of mutations that have lost their subjectivity creates a new world(platform). As a result, dichotomous reasoning and break from institutionalized society result in another reasoning and system. In the skeptical circulation, it shows the escape from a uniform, standardized, real world to a dreamy and haunting world.

It's my secret psychedelic fantasy. They try to mingle together but they have transformed subjects who can never harmonize each other. The place they make is my utopia and virtual reality.

The writings revealing the feelings of deep anguish and humanity that a human being can have provides a direction for us to pursue sustainable win-win and coexistence.

Just like the earth shining with pale blue light among shining stars in the universe, each individual exists even if they are not glaringly bright.
