My inspiration for Abstract Art Twenty-Five was the intensity of heat and light that we feel from the sun--almost a yearning for its warmth. I also wanted to contrast light against dark and dark against light, and to build up a blend of color from pale yellow through orange and red to deep crimson. The painting is made up of several layers and drawn shapes that were then filled in with a very small brush.
