End of May is the time of the roses. I have 12 rose bushes in my garden and it is a real spectacle watching them blooming, rushing to show their beauty, speeding up to gather the tender spring sun rays, patiently arranging their leaves. Some years May comes with daily rains. The abundant water ruins the gentle rose leaves. So I am cutting some flowers to put in a vase and save their beauty for as long as possible. This is how this still life was born. Now the beauty is saved forever.
