This painting was made after the Paris attacks, late 2015. I have been living in Paris from my birth in 1978 until 2012, when I moved to northern Britanny (France). In this new place, I have found some peace and serenity in the countryside that I was missing in the city. The energy depicted in this artwork can be found in the tension between those two sides of my life.
