I am an abstractionist painter and work with acrylics, inks and pastels on canvas and paper. I love color. I feel that colors provide me with a language to explore and articulate my feelings and emotions. The transformation of my emotional narrative to the language of colors is richly satisfying and in process every art piece becomes much more than the jumble of thoughts it starts with. It becomes a story. I paint modern, organic contemporary art pieces that are vibrant and bold. I love to work with acrylics as they are very flexible and allow me to achieve an endless continuum of shades, hues and textures; from a dreamy, transparent, watercolor like look on one hand to a heavily textured look on the other.
